WRC Raises Funds to End Domestic Violence

amber975

Thank you to the Atlanta Business Chronicle for sharing our upcoming fundraiser Champions for Change! We are incredibly grateful for your support in raising awareness and making a difference in the lives of survivors of domestic violence in Atlanta.

On June 22, we will be hosting our annual Champions for Change fundraiser with an ambitious goal of raising $350,000. These funds will go far in supporting programs and services for domestic violence survivors and their children in our community. For example, funds raised by the event will support Camp PEACE, our 8-week summer program that teaches children alternatives to violence and promotes compassion for themselves and others.

This year we will honor The Home Depot's legal department, led by the remarkable Teresa Wynn Roseborough. Their dedication as active volunteers, financial supporters, and donors of supplies has been invaluable in helping families rebuild their lives.

"They have been active volunteers for years, donating valuable time, providing financial support and they've also donated building supplies as families are rebuilding their lives," said Allegra Lawrence-Hardy, co-chair of the event and a partner with the law firm Lawrence & Bundy.

Join us in our mission to create a safer and more compassionate community for everyone.
