When we unveiled our new name on April 30, we hoped Atlanta would take notice. They did, and we couldn't be more grateful.
In the days since our Champions for Change gala, the story of our 40-year journey and our new name has been picked up across the city. Here's a look at the coverage:
11Alive Reporter Joe Ripley covered the announcement for 11Alive, bringing our story to audiences across metro Atlanta. Watch the segment here.
Our CEO Jean Douglas also sat down with 11Alive for a deeper conversation about what the name change means for our organization, for our community, and for the more than 9,000 survivors we serve each year. Watch the full interview here.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle featured our rebrand in a full story, highlighting both the name change and the milestone it represents, including our 2025 acquisition of the DeKalb Rape Crisis Center and the $750,000 raised at the gala to fund crisis services. Read the full story here.
Our friends at Coxe Curry & Associates, one of Atlanta's leading nonprofit consulting firms, shared the news with their network, spreading the word about our new chapter to the broader philanthropic community.
This is just the beginning. The name In Safe Company was born from 40 years of showing up for survivors and now, more people than ever know who we are and what we stand for.
If you'd like to share our story, we'd love your help spreading the word.
