To help ensure the health and safety of those using our services, as well as staff and volunteers, Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence will be canceling the following events until further notice:
Weekly support groups
Weekly legal clinic
Volunteer orientations and continuing education
If you need support during this stressful time, you will still be able to reach us 24/7 on our domestic violence hotline at (404) 688-9436. At this time, our community office and visitation center will remain open, as will our office at the DeKalb County Superior Courthouse.
Today, our principal staff met to scrutinize our disaster plan for continuing to provide vital services to families impacted by domestic violence. We are committed to being a resource for the Atlanta community and have plans in place for protecting and sustaining our safe house guests and keeping our hotline running. We will continue to communicate with you, our supporters, as we respond to this evolving event.
