Our CEO Jean Douglas, recently sat down with 11Alive News for an interview ahead of this year's Champions for Change Gala, a milestone event celebrating 40 years of the Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence's commitment to survivors.

In the segment, Jean previewed the upcoming gala and spoke to the heart of our mission: providing vital support and services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault right here in the Atlanta community. For four decades, WRCDV has stood alongside survivors, and this anniversary is a powerful moment to reflect on that legacy and to look ahead.

Thank you for sharing this inspiring reflection on 40 years of striving for social justice and change. It’s remarkable how the gala not only celebrates past achievements but also ignites hope for future generations, reminding us that every effort counts in gd building a better community.
