Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, our Champions for Change event on May 5, 2022 raised more than $320,000 to provide services to domestic violence survivors in Atlanta!
We were excited to host 300 guests in person and 50 guests at home in our first ever hybrid fundraiser. The event was chaired by Joy White and our board fundraising chair was Tameka Phillips.
Everyone in attendance was amazed and enthralled by our honoree Natasha Trethewey. She spoke with such honesty and vulnerability about her mother's life and legacy. You can hear her full conversation with our housing services director, Barbara Gibson, on our YouTube channel.
