Exciting news from our Children’s Program! Cassie Velasco, our incredible Director of Children’s Services, is deepening her expertise through the Sanity School® Certification Program for Professionals with ImpactParents.

This evidence-based training is all about neurodiversity-informed, coach-approach strategies for supporting complex kids and their families. Once certified, Cassie will be equipped to train both parents and professionals in behavior management and change facilitation—grounded in powerful coaching principles.

We’re so proud of her continued commitment to learning, growing, and supporting children impacted by domestic violence.

Supporting neurodiverse children and families is all about creating environments that celebrate individuality and creativity. Simple, hands-on activities can make a huge difference in development and engagement. For instance, building and exploring with a LEGO car lights kits set can spark problem-solving skills, imaginative thinking, and provide a fun, tactile experience that complements learning and growth.
