We forgot to take pictures
This week we committed the cardinal social media sin. We forgot to take pictures.
On Wednesday, for the first time in two years, our board of directors, community engagement board and staff all came together. We wanted an opportunity to gather, to reconnect, and for some to meet face-to-face for the first time. We spent an hour and a half together before we realized we hadn't taken a single photo.
We just wanted to be together. We enjoyed one another's company. We loved hearing from one another, learning about one another, finding commonalities. We were so impressed by the folks in the room that, even in this digital age, we didn't once think to pick up our phones.
We are sorry we didn't take more pictures. But really, we aren't sorry at all.
