Shimmy Mob is a celebration of fun and teamwork, where dancers in cities around the world unite for a common cause. Simple yet profound, our mission is to use the art of belly dance to shine a spotlight on domestic violence and to raise vital funds for shelters and support services. We strive to educate people on recognizing the signs of abuse and breaking the cycle of violence. Through each shimmy and sway, we aim to foster a world where kindness, inclusivity, and integrity lead the way to healing and hope. Team DeKalb is still recruiting dancers! And we hope you will join us at this amazing event benefitting Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.
