2020 turned out to be the year none of us could have imagined or, quite frankly, prepared for. On March 12th, our staff gathered at our safe house to clean out closets and organize supplies in preparation for a makeover of our children’s space. Before we started our scheduled task, we shifted gears and discussed the pending pandemic and ways to prepare for a quarantine. A few of us loaded up in our pick-up truck and embarked on a shopping trip to buy yummy treats, comfort food, cleaning supplies and paper products to last for a few weeks. Little did we know!
